Cheeky co-op action title Magicka has hit another sales milestone, passing 1.3 million in sales, according to StrategyInformer. Paradox Interactive revealed the news during its recent convention in Sweden. Meanwhile, the various DLC packs have totaled over 4 million in sales and the “Magicka: Vietnam” expansion has topped 500,000 units.
Paradox is also planning a new expansion for the game entitled “The Other Side of the Coin,” which sees players taking on the roles of Magicka‘s enemies. More details on the expansion are expected later today.

iPad Game for Cats

On the recommendation of a friend I downloaded this silly little app (level 1 is free – level two is well worth .99) and then handed the iPad to the cat.
Blackjack quickly figured out the rewarding behaviours (smack the mouse and it will squeak! – catch the laser pointer light and it bursts) and soon had selected the game he liked the best… though as I looked over periodically, I could see he’d switched between games a couple of times.
When I finally took the iPad back, he was not amused! .. and this morning I found him sitting beside it waiting for me to start it up again…
Do I have to buy him his own??

They had to put up PowerMac G5′s for the really demanding games. If I were interested in games and considered getting an iMac G5, this would make me somewhat nervous…
